Default Best Track to race in Houston?

HRP or Lonestar?

How is Lonstar now that it is 1/4 mile? Are the race hours better? Launch pad prep? Crowded?

Lonestar is less crowded. HRP is closer to me. But, I don't seem to have the time for either lately.

I prefer the Beltway.

Brooke, I've had some good luck at Lonestar. Just get there early. Track surface goes away if a bunch of ricers show up. They usually roll in after dark. Sealy is also a straight shot up 36 for you. Let me know when you're going. I'll race you.

Tony, I bet that viper is "FEEL THE RIDE" machine at the track or street.

Patrick, be glad to race you anytime.. Just don`t break your arm this time..

Trying to get a baseline before moding in the next few weeks.. Replaced my bad intercooler pump last saturday and WOW! IAT`s are now running 80 deg. less and recover time is only 20 seconds between runs.. Any stock 08 Vetts at the track these days? Need a baseline on those too.. That is all I see on the roads these days, is Vette`s. Most will not run the Benz, even with me bouncing all over their door. WTF? Maybe to much of a sleeper.

Lee at ASP has moved into a larger shop across the street and has my 178mm blower pulley waiting on me.. He and I will do the install and update his instructions for the CL.

It sounds like HRP has the best launch pad still? Are tracks more crowded or less , since I was there 6 years ago. I can`t even find the track hours and days for Lonestar..

The last time i went (3 weeks ago) on a sunday, there were only about 30 cars running and of those, i think there were only about 10 in the lane at any given time. It was a round robin if you wanted to run that much.
