Did I say it meant nothing? I said it doesn't mean everything. Reading comprehension skills are key.

I should be quiet because your logic fails? Sorry, doesn't work like that.

Tell us again how the ZR1 lacks in the "other aspects?" Yes the ZR1 is heavier, the F430 is ~400lbs lighter than the ZR1. Roughly 120bhp (not rwhp) isn't that big of an advantage when you take the weight into consideration. Brake fade? I don't recall anyone complaining about brake fade on the ZR1, oh that's right, because they don't fade. The C6 Z06's brakes don't even fade.

Somehow, the ZR1 still hands the almighty prancing horse it's ***. Gee, I wonder why?

"ZR1 will use some Euro tech known as magneto-rheological dampers, like the Ferrari 599, the fluid in these units is filled with iron particles and the viscosity can be instantly changed by varying an electric current passing through it, ride sensors in the car take measurements every 0.001 seconds, and translate the information to the dampers every 0.002 seconds, adjusting the firmness of the ride to handle the corners much better then a stock mechanical system would.

With a six speed gear box, and Ferrari disc brakes at all four corners, stopping should be no problem either, as you well know, what speeds up must at one time on another slow down, and the brakes and transmission are just as important as the engine is to your safety, the brake rotors are made for a carbon ceramic composite, the Ferrari Enzo used these brakes on the front wheels, the corvette will use them at all four corners."

The car does weigh more and it does have more power, but for those that have high horsepower track cars...power can kill. It's about efficiently putting the power to the pavement in any and all circumstances. So, power can help you and can hurt you. The engineering that went it to the ZR1 is outstanding. They benchmarked from the best supercars out there and engineered a car that blows the competition away at a 1/4 of the price. The ZR1 is a daily driver with straight line power that you can take to the track and run circles around the exotics.

With the cost of a brake job on those components, I'll take the Brembo's it comes with.

So instead of justifying how the ZR1 lacks in these "aspects" you speak of, you're trying to call me out for trolling. You're really reaching now.

Lol, when you get home, take a look at the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6mEirkQN8o

I don't care what the car is, after 6 Mustangs, a couple Camaro's and Firebirds, I'm saying it's more than just power. I actually don't really care one way or the other, I just asked you to answer a question and all you could come up with was a half assed answer. No biggie

well obviously because it has a lot more power....you just proved it

so the ZR1 laps the ring faster than what is considered the best handling car in the world, with the main difference being the power to weight ratio....hmmm I wonder who is being more honest about the BHP number?!?!?!?

If I read into your "doesn't handle" allegation, then all that (a lot!!11!) extra power must be a moot point since there's no way to put it to the ground. Not to mention you're talking about a whole 20hp/weight ratio difference.

Anything else you would like to spout off about?

The ZR1 is gonna be a beast with a smaller pulley. It won't be but a few weeks after they come out before you see some 600-700rwhp ZR1s

GM accomplished their main goal with this car, fastest production car at the Ring.
