not trying to make you sound like an idiot or anything. just my easiest way of explaining it without it turning into a full blown Ram Air battle lol.

ram air doesn't actually work until the car is traveling faster than the air entering the engine....I think you have to go 130+ for it to matter..

WS6 is what your car is not. WS7 is what people call their car when they put a WS6 hood on it, not a SLP HO hood. WS9 is a hood. And your car is not a WS9 with an SLP HO hood on it. AND PLEASE STOP POSTING IN BOLD!

Cut the baffles out or leave them, really doesn't do much.

Peace,
Craig.

Its true most ram air hoods do very little, If you look at the air flow test on most of the cars under 100k like 70% of the air travels under the car, so if you really want it you need to mount something rightinfront of the wheel or some where in the middle under the car.

Really though, do what you want, "to each his/her own". I feel sorry if you ever have to replace the hood just to sell it to the next owner, that free HP is gonna cost you.
I have a brand new firehawk hood sitting in my garage...lololol.. alot more people do this than you think

+1
more affective & cheaper to replace, compared to a hood, if you decide to go back to stock.
