Default Engineering Majors

Anyone here ever take 20 hours or more in a semester? If so how much did you hate life? Did you work during the semester? Just trying to get a feel for what I'm up against.
Thanks

Which classes are they? The amount of hours is not a good judge of how much time you'll be spending on each class.

If you're good at math thats not too bad. If math overwhelms you then you're in for some ****.

But if math overwhelms you now is the time to conquer that fear before its too late

Well I used to be good at math but I haven't taken differential calculus since my freshman year and that was almost 6 years ago. I hope it comes back to me lol. Thanks for all the responses!

20 of engineering courses is too much, but you can handle those probably. Geology and physics probably both have labs, think that over.

I know for a fact that physics has a lab I'm not too sure about geology. I've taken up to 24 hours in a semester when I was working on my first degree (biology) but wasn't sure how engineering classes stacked up.

ok first of all 20 hours is a shitload...15 completes a semester... you will have no life and will not be able to do a job. I would say around 16 to 17 would be getting on the heavy side. I am an aerospace engineering major what about yourslef

Good point made about the labs. I HATED labs....they take up a majority of your time writing lab reports.

I worked 35 hours a week and took around 16 hours per semester. My advice would be to keep it around 16 hours and then load up in the summer semester.
