anyone with snakes? Just thought i would post up, i just got a new ball python about a week ago and wanted to see if any other techer's had snakes or something. This is my first one and its pretty cool, ive already fed her a live mouse and she ate no problem. Ill try and get pictures soon.

lol yea i thought the same thing then i started to research them and found out there pretty low maintence and where im living now isnt big enough for my dog. I still need to name her though

I have 6 currently, though thinking about thining those #'s....2 pythons and 4boas.... It was cool when they were young and could eat live meals. Now the Rats they eat are too large and can do damage, to me and them, if left alive. So got them all on frozen/thawed food. Still cool as hell though
ive had 3... i would like to get another but my apt complex would prob freak if they saw it... a ball python is perfect to start out with... i have never seen one of those that has been aggressive... red tailed boas on the other hand is a different question lol... some are docile and some outright mean... the one i had was mean haha... if people dont get a ball python to start out with they usually go for the red tails or burmese pythons which is a bad idea cause burms get huuuuggggeeee which i found out the hard way... it gets too expensive to house/feed them once they get that big... if i ever get another one id like either a green tree or jungle carpet python... i could go on all day about reptiles but cool pet man and good luck with it

Just release it! I've been trying to get it out of my store for 3 weeks now. It's a very clever bastard that pops up when you least suspect. I almost pre-crapped in my pants when I went to the restroom and there it was all coiled up in the corner looking at me devilisly. I went to get a stick or something to persuade it to get out and it already slide behind a hole in the adjoining wall.
lol... have you caught it yet or what??... i didnt read through that other thread i just looked at the pic of it... if you have why dont you just take it away from there and release it in the woods or creek or something like that... and if it finds its way back then youre just going to have to coexist haha... the thing is virtually harmless to you though
If that thing should ever bite me in the a$$ or something while I'm in the bathroom (that seems to be the place it likes to come charging out of) I'm coming after you, I will go to DFW hunt you down and personally tell you in your face that you lied when you said it was harmless and let my dog bite the $hit out of your ankle!

lol... try setting some kind of trap... if its seen the wild its whole life it shouldnt be too hard to catch... go by the pet store and buy a pinky mouse or a hopper if they have one of those... put it in a box with some kind of door that the snake can get in but wont be able to get back out... you might have to rig something up but you should be able to get him
