I'm out for this one.
I damaged my left knee and foot trying out for the Special Olympics gymnastics team and have to keep it elevated most of the time or it starts talking to me.
I don't see me being able to do that at a meet/cruise. Not to mention it doesn't feel good to wear shoes either.

I could just see someone getting their panties in a knot when there was no reason to.
IMO Special Olympics is a sham anyway. Any time my sister went, they had her running against older kids that had no physical disabilities. She didn't care, but I thought is was pretty crappy. Thats as fun as watching a race between a stock GT and a stroker LS1 on spray.
