Default Im so Stupid

I cant believe i just fell for a phishing scam, I feel so stupid. Ok, here's what happened, I recieved an email who I thought was from pay pay saying I needed to update my personal info. Clinked on the link and it took me to what looked just the pay pal website made me log in said said my account had been frozen because I needed to get verified ( my status was not verified or something like that before so I thought it was legit), entered my personal info and clicked up date, then my mozilla browser says that this site has been know for forgery, checked the ip address and it did not match pay pals. I don't know if my info went through or not or if the mozilla filter block it, But I feel so stupid I just wanted to vent sorry guys. So be careful read up phishing so you don't become a victim. So far I've notified pay pay changed my password and delete all of my credit cars from their list. I guess I will go to the bank tomorrow and see what they advise me. Any suggestions???

Happens all the time. I get those emails alot. Just remember most sites (Ebay, paypal, etc) will never ask you for your id and password or use a clickable link for that info. Always go to the particular website, login and update information.

pay pal is tied into a bank account so if you have the same password for online banking, change it as well

Did you put in your social as well? If so, you're gonna get screwed. Lifelock basically just does the same thing you could do, as far as setting up protections with each of the three credit reporting agencies, but since it would be faster, I might suggest calling them. And while thats not 100% either, its better than nothing. If you gave your social your going to be dealing with people opening accounts in your name and ******* up your credit for a long time.
