Weather could have something to do with it along with driver error.

A tune would help out alot. The heat, track conditions, driver, and humidity can have a big affect.

I would def say weather...I mean it was hot when I ran and pretty humid but the car ran strong...mines not even tuned...I just let the car learn the headers....thing ran like crap at first....did the same thing when i put on my LS6 intake.....

I haven't got a good time outta the setup I have now...

LT's
True duals
LS6 Intake
P&P TB and MAF
Lid
Free mods

I have 3.73's and a 2500 stall going in by the 27th so im hoping for low 12's on tires..

factors in track times are weather, the humidity can send the DA to over 4000ft easy which would be like driving your car up north in the not-so-good air. Heat is also a big factor, when you go to the track people just want to let it rip in the burn out and launch the **** out of it, but a hot greasy track is just going to blow the tires off. Don't be discouraged about your track time if it didn't improve.

Get some drag radials, and you will def see a .2-.4 drop in your time.

60 ft should be around 1.8-1.9 with your mods, and some drs.

Post both your old best and your new best, from 60 foot to the end 1/4 pass and it will be easier to let you know if there was driver error in the factor. How long ago was the stock passes to now? Years? Months?

I second this. When i stalled my car, i **** you not, i dropped half a sec in the 1/4 mile. 3200 stall is what i went with. On my old motor i was running 13.2's all damn day thinking wtf. I have a cam and **** and im running in 13's still. Ended up getting a stall and next time out i was cutting 1.7's and running 12.7's. I was pleased. Also i did have Drag Radiuals as well.

But other than that this weather sucks, and wait till november or dec then ull notice a big improvment.
