Wow, I didn't know these were so rare!
I went to hooters with a couple of my buds and I got a couple workers there to come take some pics with my car and as I was talking to one of them, she said she had a camaro as well. So I asked what she had and she said, "A red one". So then I asked is it a v6 or v8 and she responded with "It's just a v6. I could have got a gold v8 one but I like red better".. If only she had the knowledge of the production numbers...

As an owner of a BBM '99 Z28, I have some appreciation for the rare colors. There was a GSM Z28 around Anderson Mill here in Austin a while back, and I know a guy in/around San Antonio with another one that he runs pretty regularly at SAR. He doesn't baby it just because it's rare.

I also saw one of the SS's for sale on Ebay a couple years ago. Thought about placing a bid, but I think they were a little too proud of it.

That's hilarious, I can hear the craigslist ad now. "Gold camaro for sale, with limited edition gold brake rotors, 1 of 1 made!"
But I do think the Gold T/A's and Camaro's look sharp though.
