I need this puppy to be open NOW! 5 weeks until the LSX Shootout and you have to either drive to OK or Houston for the closest 1/4 mile track that has decent hook-up! (Or just stay around and run 1/8 mile.) No one knows when they are opening?

will not be open for a while. track is only poured to the quarter mile and he is going all the way down. there has been no work done to the track for almost a month now. rumor has it that no more work will be done untill he start to pay for some of the work. it has been posted in the area paper that it will be open in 6 weeks but he still has a bit of work to be done.

can't wait......

i found an IHRA rule that states anyone running 135+ MPH has to have a cage but only convertibles and T-tops have bar/cage requirements other than the general MPH rule......

Can't wait, I'm about 3 miles from the track. Every time I've been by they've been working on it as of recently. Water was a big hold up for the builder.

If you drive by the sign says expected completion date summer 2006 LOL.

There are several threads on this now. Funny how it comes up every month or so and no one searches out the other threads.

Well, find all the threads then PM a mod and see if they can merge all the threads for ya. That'll save you from making posts like this.

I doubt it. People still would not look for the existing thread. There is a lot of good info about the track in the other threads. All these same questions have been asked and answered here several times.

What is funny about that... My buddy who races and cant wait for the track, well his sister is part of that lawsuit ****.. They have been fighting this for a while.. But he has full go ahead now and that is why they are making all the progress.. well that and the funding of it....

So the sister is going to be mad at the brother when we are taking caravans to the track..... might have to drive by her house and wave.. LOL

There's only like 2 questions in this thread. One is "heard any updates?" and the other is about IHRA rules. So do the other threads answer questions about the IHRA rules or have updates? If there were updates the thread would probably be toward the top?

The other threads contain links to updates and IHRA info. So the answer to your question is yes
