I worked on Chouest's vessel "C-Enforcer" in Fourchon, LA. for a little while.

Im with Diamond Offshore Drilling.

Just bought a showroom condition Z71 for a DD, and i will be buying a C6 down the road...and im buying a house right now

I'm still with TMC. Doing a little more water work this year, but my specialty is still the land rigs down here in South Texas.

i work on the chouest vessels also. on all the anchor boats benn of the "MAX CHOUEST" mostly .i work for delmar systems. doing offshore mooring for diamond, noble, tans ocean,global santafe,....

but i take the accord to lafayette then a company called people hauler picks us up on those party buses and take us to fourchon, la

You a deckhand or QMED out there?


Ya thats a newer vessel, i think its the biggest of the fleet right now, what is it a 320ft?

na not a deck hand, the oil companies lease the boats and then use are compines and put us on the boats along with the boat crew, the max chouest is 288ft long and 80 feet wide i do belive . the laney is the biggest in the fleet and 340 feet long. they have one coming out next year called the dino its bigger than the laney!!!

its not an osv it's an a.h.v. anchor handleing vessel, here are some pictures of deck and the winches on the boat. the winches and tuggers are made by rolls royce!!
thats 17,800 feet of 3&7/8" wire !! and thats just on the top drum the two below have around 9K feet together took me 40 hours to put all that on there!! with one crew

picking up preset for transocean
