Default Tall ramps?

Just curious if anyone knows of a company that sells some sturdy safe ramps that you can do just about anything to ur car with like pulling the transmission, motor mounts, headers etc. I just want some that can get the car pretty high.

Probably the scissor lift is safest. Don't know about trans. I've never seen one in use.

I don't see how ya'll use ramps anyways...mine tried to hit my bumper, so I never used them. I just used a jack and jack stands, and I do everything.

Ever seen one FAIL???? I have!!!!!!! Friend called me after he had jacked up the car while changing a a tire. The screw had striped out the end of the thread and came crashing down to the ground.

I told him.... be glad you weren't under there when that happen.

Moral.... NEVER get under a car with only a jack supporting it.
ALWAYS USE JACKSTANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got a set of walmart brand ramps and the work fine. i also got a set of metal ones, but they hit the bumper. if you look into ramps, make sure it fits your car. they do make ramps for lowered cars but be prepared to pay up

I didn't say anything about a jack, I said a lift.
Hydraulic lift, scissors type. I would never suggest anyone get under one of those piece of crap things.
Hell, I don't think I've even seen one of those jacks in 20 years.

I use some 2 x 12's to drive up on the ramps. I then jack my car up with a a floor jack and put jackstands under all 4 corners.. ONLY SAFE way to do it without a lift in my opinion.. I have seen to many jacks failed and the results aren't nice to the car or people involved.
