Plastic welding, plug, cap, etc...
Plastic welding, plug, cap, etc... Hey guys... I just got a new volant intake and am trying to find my best option to "cleanly" plug up this hole... I don't have emissions on my car, so where a small A.I.R. filter would normally go here, I have nothing... what do you guys think my best option is...?

do they sell universal grommet plugs in the help section of the auto parts place? might have some there. i made a plug for my slp lid and i think i remember making the plug exactly .75 or 3/4 of an inch in diameter but im not sure. that was with using the factory rubber grommet that was installed on the lid.
yea i know... but I would just like to make it look as nice as possible... I gotta think there's some easy solution to this... I'm gonna go to autozone, checkers, napa, etc... probably tomorrow to see what they have... hopefully i can come across a nice solution...
Home Depot and Lowe's have little parts bins and
I have found various-sized plastic hole plugs there.
Used a little bit of weatherstrip adhesive to get
airtight seal. Plastic looks to be textured ABS like
most of these air duct pieces seem to use. Used
them to plug the AIR breather on my Blackwing lid.
