they taught us in more than enough seminars that all you need is a magnet tray. send the car into reset/learn mode, hold the tray next to the sensor until the horn beeps for each tire.

The Bartec Wheelrite 400 is what you need for your shop. The NAPA part number for the tool kit is NTH 92-1520. About ~$1300 here in Alaska. Plugs into the OBD port to program new sensors, very easy to learn and use.

The magnet, i know is for C5 vettes. But on most Gm vehicles with TPMS you can enter the learn mode and starting from LF going clockwise ending at LR, you can release air or add air to the tire and it will honk once recognized. ie. Trailblazer... Key On, Pull parking brake lever, cycle headlights from on to off/auto three times within 3 seconds and horn will honk once done, the bcm is now in tpm relearn mode. Starting with LF, add or remove air for about 5 seconds. Pause and wait for a honk, if no honk, continue to remove or add air to the same tire. Then continue on to the RF then RR then ending in the LR and usually the vehicle will Honk Twice, notifying you that it is Done relearning and is no longer in the relearn mode. Cycle the key once and start the car.
