Default Home made ls1 valve spring tool

A friend if mine planned to swap valve springs this weekend and purchased a awesome piece of chit valve spring compressor from autozone for like $20. Needless to say it's so universal it didn't work. After giving the engine the stare and looking around the garage I came up with the solution. Make my own tool. Needless to say it worked flawlessly and was as solid feeling while using it. Basically I took an extra rocker arm a air grinder "wrench", a nut and some flat bar and made a compressor. I was so impressed It took 30 minutes to made and about 5 minutes to figure out the details. I'm gonna make them and make a post inthe correct section once I have some for sale. I will post up a picture of the one I used this weekend sometime this week.

Crane double spring tool > Everything else

They're worth every penny, and cut the spring swap time in half.
