Just bought a Plasma cutter. I've always wanted one and will need it for an upcoming project so I broke down and bought myself a late Christmas present. 
Here is the one I got. Bought it from Indiana Oxygen off Ebay.

I broke my brand new self dimming helmet ripping it off after smelling smoke while I was welding. I was on fire. 
Not funny until you get it put out. 
Hmmmm.....making flanges outta that 1/2" ss.

Made flanges outta that 1/2 actually, they live on an LT1 now
Setting yourself on fire is fun. It's worse when you set the thing your welding on fire, say like a 91 Jimmy 4X4.

Think I'm going to get one of those Thermal Arc 185 Pro Waves also.
I'll write them off as tools, being a "contractor" has it's benefits sometimes at tax time.

www.brwelder.com for those of you not in Maryland. They have great prices and usually have free shipping on welders. If you're not in Maryland you won't pay sales tax either.
Also, www.indianaoxygencompany.com has some very good prices on welding equipment. That's where I bought my plasma cutter.
