Default noob o2 sensor socket question

So I have to swap out my d/s pre-cat o2 sensor (96 trans-am lt1) but all the o2 sockets I've found are too short to work on the long o2 sensor. Anyone know of any stores/websites that carry a socket that will fit???

Any local parts store will carry the socket with a cutout for the wires

I prefer to use a long box end wrench for more leverage. 13/16" IIRC

All you need is a 7/8" wrench and a decent size pair of *********.

22mm wrench works better (slightly tighter fit)

Most tool trucks (snapon, mac, matco ) all sell the o2 sockets as 7/8. I know locally napa, autozone, advance all have the el cheapo ones on the shelf that work fine

screw the O2 sockets. unless you plan to save the O2 sensor, they are wasted money. i use a regular 6pt 22mm deep socket and cut the wires.
