X2 on a bigger oven, sometimes my conventional oven can be a pain in the a**.

Man, this is a project that I've given serious thought to many times. Thanks for posting this & giving all of us an idea of what's involved.

Used to do powdercoating, it's a lot of fun. I'd love to get back into it. The only part I hate is the prep! Lots of talent in here

That's awesome! Im currently doing a build similar to this. As far as the insulation goes, did you use the regular aluminum backed insulation or I think it was "rock wool" insulation? I only ask because ive read that the regular insulation breaks down due to the heat as to where the later of the ones Ive mentioned do not. As far as powders Ive bought and used powders from Prismatic Powders simply due to the array of powders offered but Im not sure if I like how they flow out so Im gunna buy some other powders eventually. Looks great though!

I had a hard time finding actual rock wool and when I did it was pricey. I took a gamble on the water heater wrap stuff you can pick up at any Home Depot or lowes and it works flawlessly. At 400 degrees I can place my hand on the oven and it is cool to the touch

That's really good to know actually, thank you! I actually haven't looked for rock wool but it's def good to know regular insulation will work!
