I had an 80 gal. 2 stage 7.5HP Champion and I still could keep that thing running while using a die grinder or DA.
I sold all of my stuff and am going to buy a screw compressor now.

This has nothing to do with the shop here.. but I had a 60 gallon vertical Ingersoll-Rand unit from Lowes, about $600. I believe it was a 3.7 hp. (could be wrong) It worked great! It was in a 3 man shop, using air tools all the time, and a lot of porting and polishing. I did a ton of homework on the web before purchasing it, and picked it up locally. Never gave me a bit of trouble.
