over 150lbs of torque
I was going to go with a Sears torque wrench that went to 250lbs, but it wasn't in stock, so I just picked up the one that goes to 150.....You can rent a torque wrench that goes to 250 at pep boys, autozone or the other auto parts store, its usually free (just have to put a deposit), so I keep my 150 around for everything else and whenever I need more its off to the store

Now it seems everyone is re-using the old TTY crank pulley bolts....
I assume in another two years everyone will finally realize that all TTY bolts - including head bolts etc,. can be re-used. This has been confirmed by my Chevy dealer who has re-used TTY head bolts for years. I also checked with a licensed engineer who deals with metal issues frequently. He said all bolts stretch and TTY bolts are made of the same steel as other bolts...
..here we go again!!!!! ...don't ever re-use TTY bolts they are designed to stretch only once (UHG!) blah, blah, blah....!!!!

Both are designed to stretch, yes.
On the surface they might look like the same bolt.
But TTY bolts are spec'd to stretch more than conventional bolts.
Conventional bolts are only spec'd to 75% of their yield, where TTY bolts
are spec'd to 100% of their yield. Metal isn't exactly elastic, so they won't go back to their original state.
Sure you can try to reuse them and you might get lucky with the first reuse, but that is why you here people talking about breaking their pulley bolts off in the crank snout.
