Default SNL Performance/Fabrication Work

Here are some pictures of Patrick's Twin Turbo CTS-V 3" Exhaust we built in house last week. We used Magnaflow s/s tips. 6 hangers, with v-bands for easy removal.

All TIG welded with a Miller Syncrowave 200, 1/16" 2% Ceriated Tungsten, .035 stainless rod, small gas lens, #8 cup, 18-20 pure argon on 45amps

The difficult part of this fabrication job, was clearing the first ever 2nd Gen CTS-V 9" from G-Force! It took a ton of small bends for maximum ground and driveshaft clearance.

Nice fit & finish.

The average exhaust shop can run something in a few hours, but it takes so much more for it to really fit nice, tuck in & last.

Thanks. I couldn't agree more!! Took almost 2 days to get this wrapped up, but oh so worth it!

Did the owner specify that he wanted an H-pipe? I have not heard an H-pipe of an F-body, but I can attest to the sound difference of dual straight back pipes vs one with an X cross-over. I played around with my duals about a year ago going through 3 different variations. He will be much happier with the sound. I have always heard that H's give smoother sound and can say that the X's give a much more exotic/Corvetteish tone over straight out the back.

That is the custom exhaust for one of our TT CTSV builds. The crossover ("H") pipe helps keep the tone in check on these things. Without the "H" it sounds very odd.

Here are some finished up fab pictures at SNL on a T6 Turbo Wagon we helped build. The build up of the turbo kit is under "forced induction" if you would like to see more The last picture is how we got the car delivered.

T6 Turbo
5" Down pipe reduced to 4"
3" Intercooler piping
2.5" mid pipes and Y-Pipe to a singe 4" section

Yes we can do basically anything you can think of - in house. We can do as much or as little as you need. We have people that let us do the fabrication from scratch with no real idea of what they want, and others that have everything in place and just need the welding done.

If you have an idea we can help you put it together and a guesstamation on price and the route you take.

You can reply, pm us or just give us a shout, we will be happy to help you out.

Just letting you know Steve, This thread & a few others you posted on have caused me a lot of extra work;;;;;;;
Guess I got inspired enough to finally build my own custom tri-y headers & put together my own 3" mandrel bent exhaust system. You know the saying, if you want something done right, do it yourself.https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...e-headers.html
While mine will be done between my day job & on an after Christmas size budget (some used parts, not all stainless) hopefully when done it will look like fabrication worthy of your shop.
Thanks for the inspiration.
