Miller also makes Hobart.
Lincoln also makes Century.

Airgas had a killer deal on a 185(ish) miller last month,if it is still on. It would use either 110 or 220 volts and came with a free aluminum spool gun. Whatever you get go ahead and getsetup for gas. Much cleaner and easier to use

Op, I purchased a 110v (for portability/ease of use) Lincoln from Home Depot nearly 8 years ago. I've welded up more exhausts then I could count on my hands and toes, fabricated all kinds of random crap, fixed trailers you name it. I love this little machine. I run Lincoln flux wire and correctly done can make a very nice weld. If portability is not a concern you can step up to the 220v model for a little more money and add a jug of gas and not deal with the headache of flux coating all of your welds. The above advice is from an x-welder, someone who made a living welding. So take that for what its worth.

Buy from wherever you can get the best PRICE. Ebay has people selling brand new machines 80 bucks LESS than lowes or home depot. That's where I bought my 180 Lincoln 5 years ago and it's been a great machine. Everything from thin sheet metal work to 5/16 plate and I have had no issues doing any of them.
