Default socket for crank bolt

I got this crank bolt about 4 years ago (but not from ebay), haven't needed until now:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Massive-Cran...-/261739697521

The thing is the head is only 16mm (12 pts), so I'm wondering if a regular 16mm 1/2" socket will be strong enough to torque it to 240 ft/lbs. The stock or ARP bolts are 24mm, so 16mm seems kind of marginal. Seems good otherwise, marked as 12.9 strength.

OEM bolts are single-use. Is this one? Compare it to an OEM bolt.

No it's not single use, not torque to yield. It would be comparable to an ARP bolt not an OEM. Anyway concerned about the socket not the bolt itself, whether 16mm socket might break or slip off too easily.

Yep save $10 buying this bolt vs the ARP then have to buy a special socket to tighten it. Makes sense.
