Default safety wire twist tools

Gonna wrap my headers and saw a cool tool inexpensive tool that I could use to wire tie the wrap in place vs using annoying ss zip ties..

Only problem is I can't find the tool now. I can go back to pliers but if there are some other suggestions on some decent tools I'd like to hear them..

You mean safety wire pliers? Tons of them available. They work great.

My brother picked one up from the inventor of that back at SEMA a few years back. He uses it at the hotrod shop all the time.

Update

clamp tite tool is cool! Used it to wire tie my header wrap. Takes a little getting used to but very secure. Not as fast as wire plyers but a much tighter tie.

I did use my wire plyers too in a few spots as well since the clamp tite needs a little room to work right.

yeah thats my main problem with the clamptite. it needs to swing around the item you are fastening. difficult when wrapping cast manis...or basically anything in-car

Glad it worked out for you! we use Panduit straps with the proper Panduit gun...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Panduit-GS4...cAAOSwW0tcmSOY

we also do not use safety wire anymore. we now use safety cable... much faster and easier...

If your asking.... I build new (green build) Jet engines for a living....

Agreed Panduit S/S straps would be the best for that application. Can be bought around $2.00 each
Not allowed to use safety cable ties internally on jet engines.
