Wow thats a lot of money, as long as your happy and live your life to the fullest theres nothing wrong with what you did. with that kind of money I probably would of pulled one like that too

Life is short you could die towmowrow and it will all be over that is nice and organized in the box, but like someone else said, i dont see 25k in tools. i have two roller bearing craftsman boxes full of multiple sets of every socket and wrench, tons of air tools and lots of other tools, i have a total of like 10k in tools and i have never ran into anything i couldnt do that required more than a few dollar tool investment.

Nice! that is a great tool collection. If I was lucky like you to have that much money to fall back on, I would have done the same. I love owning tools and wish I had even more. Can't get enough satisfaction that I did it and not some shop.

MAn, I would love to have that in the shop at work. Its not hard to rack up on tools as far as price.I did an inventory of my tools for my boss man and I had almost 10K and I have a 41" Craftsman box. In my opinion, you can never have too many tools. Its always a pain when you dont have something and have to go borrow it from somebody.As far as your cars, dont let the shops know that you have the cash you have or they will take advantage of you.
36K does seem like alot however i do think it is very possible withwhat you have there. I usually buy Matco just cause our guy is great to work with but i just bought a MatcoThane Hammer, more safety glasses, some punches, and a new 19/21MM flip socket and it was around 160 bucks. im getting tired of being in debt!!! im only 20. i should be out spending this on beer and hookers!

I hope that the air tools you bought are not snap on. Guy I work with had one a year and a month from snap on and it quit on him the snap on guy wanted $110 to have it sent off and fixed, we took it apart and found out the reason why it wasn't working was because it had a cut o-ring we got a new one out of parts put it back together and it works fine. None of us will be buying any snap on air tools, we'll stick to Ingersoll Rand.

Its odd. Snap on will replace 90% of broken things, but others they wont. Craftsmen is 100% return on anything that has craftsmen on it and is broken.
One of my car chiefs has a snap on box from the late 70s, and the drawer bearings fell apart. They did fix those no questions asked.
On the other hand, I had a snap on air saw that worked well for a few years, but finally came to its death. No replacement for that one. 110 dollars later I had a new one. Oh well. Thats racing!

in all reality craftsman won't warranty everything if your a professional then they might deny your warranty claim and some tools have 1 year or 90 day warranties on them. no one has a true lifetime warranty on everything.
i built my car completely in my garage and have done a few others as well in there with probably 2 percent of what you have invested in tools(supposedly) i have a ton of stuff and big box, just all craftsman and husky. i've beat the living hell outta all of it the last few years and never had a problem..well except the husky air compressor just had the motor die in it lol. oh well, it got a crapload of use and its just the motor.

Craftsmen has a 1 year warranty on there impact guns. surprisingly ive broken it twice (i use it everyday) and have never had a problem getting it exchanged. In all i like craftsmen alot better than anyone else. yes matco has some unusual tools that you just have to bite the bullet and get them but Sears is right down the road, no waiting for the snap on guy to come by the shop, cheaper, better in my opinion, and i can get a pretzel at the mall while im walking around looking at tools.

Well I love the Snap-On stuff as you can tell but Craftsman is so easy to have waranted at any Sears. Being that my tools are at home and that I decided to not have a job! It is hard to track down a Snap-On man.
Is sears going to make a titanium gun? or put their name on an IR one?
OR can you just take your IR gun to sears for thier(Ingersoll) warranty, since they are a dealer?
