If you are going to weld up a cage then I suggest at least 175 amp welder. As far as brand they are all good miller, lincoln, ESAB. These name brands will be much easier to find parts.

I think I am going to have close to $5,000 in the set up and schooling I am going to buy. I know that the Dynasty isn't the cheapest unit out there but if you are going to invest in a welder I wanted something that I knew had the features I could grow into without having to purchace a another new machine in 6 months or a year.
