I'm thinking of buying it myself also even though I have friends who I can always borrow one from, but this is a steal!

BTW the sale is only for 2 days I believe

Thumbs up

I just got this one recently & I'm very impressed with the build quality. It was on sale for $99 at the time. It's low enough to easily go under my subframe connectors & still have about an inch to spare. (Bilstien suspension, is it's slightly lower than stock.)

I was using one of those cheapies from Harbor Freight, but it started leaking fluid & not lifting completely so I took it back. Thankfully they did give me a refund, but I think got pretty lucky on that.

They also have another one that almost exactly the same size, but will lift 4000 lbs. that's on sale now too for $170, but since my whole car is around 3200 lbs. I figured that one would be a little overkill.

I just went during lunch and picked up the jack. $45 with my Craftsman Club card!

Shay, I also have that 4,000 lb aluminum jack. I use the hell out of it and it works great. The good thing about a higher capacity jack is that it is very easy to pump to make the car go up.

Zach, their SUV jack is also on sale right now. Something like $63, $58 with club discount.

I am sure it was just a small oversight, but the one posted will lift 3 tons....which is 6,000 pounds....significantly more than 4,000 pounds

not trying to jack a thread, but this is about a jack and i had to share this

this jack is a long arm jack and is very large, but check this out

how many times have you tried to jack your car up by the k member or rear end but your jack is so short that the entire jack is under the car trying to reach the center of the k member or rearend and the jack handle cant move up and down because its under the car? and if yopu can jack it up from there it only lifts to about 20" max

this jack is a long arm jack that will reach all the way under there and still be well outside the car leaving the entire handle in the clear where you can jack it up safely ... ad it will exceed 30" of lift! ...

this jack

they also have 6 ton jack stands that will go 24" and 12 ton

I have had this jack for a few years now. It was on sale for $70 back then. All-in-all a very good value from Craftsmutt....

no prob man.

fwiw i picked up the suv jack for my truck but you could SO use this thing on an fbody (without gfx). It goes up 19 inches but its as low as their standard jack. I so reccomend this beast to anyone who wants to do an engine swap out the bottoms (such as i have 5 times now). its on sale still btw.

I picked up the 2 ton aluminum the other day. Got it for 132.00

http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...Lift+Equipment

It's on sale till tomorrow for 169.00 less the 10% craftsman club = 152.00 plus I had $20 coupon that came in the club flyer. I knew this would be on sale one day. Better than the $200 regular price. I't a very nice jack.
