I've been using this tool for years and it's been great but im trying to get the tool working on the TFS LS1 heads. Due to the valve angles it looks as if the tool may be at too much of an angle. Anyone have success with the TFS heads?
I'm about to order the tool, i have a question on the air fitting. I understand it screws into the spark plug hole, and the other end has a quick connect, is there a button or valve that lets air in or do you just connect and it fills up with what ever air pressure you have set on your air compressor. If it takes additional air tool parts i want to make sure i have them, or can get them from the store, before the top of the motor is apart.
What ever the air pressure your compressor is set on is what will go into the cylinder...you do not need any additional tools or fittings outside of what you already discribed.
Just a reminder that this tool works on ALL LS engines including LS3 and LS7.
It also works on older small block Chevy and Ford heads.
Tim always has plenty in stock
