ohhhh.....I'd say your best bet is to take a college class on Tig welding if possible. Sounds like its for your job or something, so I dont know if you'd have enough time to do that.
Its all about concentration. I've taken several classes at the local college in tig, and it took me a little while to get the hang of it. Its not TOO hard, but takes some practice. Its all about applying the right ammount of heat with the foot pedal and having steady hands. As for instructions online, I dont know what to tell you except for searching for stuff on a search engine.

hey man I think it is easiest to try some stainless then some regular carbon steel and then after some practice and you learn how to adjust the polarity and gas I would go after aluminum Just my.02

welding aluminum is alot harder then carbon steel, i started out with carbon steel, welded on refrigerators for about 3 years, then had to relearn to weld when i started welding aluminum.
main thing on aluminum you have to get your setting right adjusting the pulse frequency and penetration., next you need to learn how to get the puddlie flowing and apply your filler right.

now when you say flowing do you mean liquid and running, what i do is i start the weld get a puddle (mind you this is on a flat plate no joint or anything) add some filler (it usually just sits there in a little ball) press on the peddle a little till the filler spreads out then i ease off the peddle let a skin form on the newly added material, and start the process over. am i doing this right?
