Default WTB: Good Multimeter

What's a Good Multimeter to Buy? What's Everybody Using?
Are the $10-$20 Ones at Local Auto Part Stores Fairly Accurate? I Only Have Experience w/ Using Fluke Meters...

im a Fluke dealer, its the only multimeter i trust. if you need one let me know.
its over 200 for a Fluke. i also have some Amprobe Multimeters in stock that are good as well and run around 150. both will last.

Same here. I use Fluke process control meters and they are the best.

Fluke is known as the best and when I was travelling all over the world fixing CNC machines, I had four of them go out on me. I got tired of paying the $200+ for new Flukes at the time and bought an $80 B&K precision meter, which never broke with all of my travelling and still works today 12 years later

Yesterday's Sears flyer had Craftsman DMM with freq,
temperature and capacitance for $29.99 (looks like it has
a red rubber boot but I could have been seeing things).
That's not bad for freq and temp, both of those being
useful on cars.

I have a $90 Craftsman model that works well, I use Flukes at work which are nice but cant justify $200 for personal use multimeter

I work on computers in video games for a living, and I generally use a 20-30 dollar radio shack meter. Every couple of years when the batteries die, I just buy a new meter. I don't avoid fluke meters because of the price, but because of their size. The damn things are just too bulky.

I'd say go with Fluke first if you can and then Craftsman second.
