I have the Miller Maxstar 150, really nice unit, also small and portable.

If you want to get serious you can get a big inverter and a 22A wire feed... Do it all with one power supply.

what about those welders at like walmat that are like 80 dollars... i heard they are ****.... would they work for welding exhaust?

you get what you pay for, you want an 80$ exhaust?

miller also sells the 150 sth, it has some variable option that the L model does not, saw one go for 8 on the bay last fall, im gonna get one sooooon

Dude, I bought a $90 stick welder from Wally World to do a temp weld job on an exhaust sytem on my old car. That thing is a piece. Don't waste your time.

Second the Lincoln Weld-Pak 100, be sure to get it with the gas conversion. FLUX CORE SUCKS! Stay away from it.
