Default Lifting Jacks For Lowered Cars?

I dropped the bird and its sitting about 2" lower now after settling and I cant get my jack under the car anymore lol. Do they sell a jack specifically for lowered vehicles? Like a shorter deck on it or something? If so where can I get one?

i have the craftsman aluminum one. it is pretty low, but, just get some 2x10's and drive up on them first.

Yep, or keep a factory crank jack handy, a few turns will get the car just high enough to slide a hydraulic floor jack under there. But 2x10's is easier.

Check out the thread below "what type of floor jack do you use". There is useful information in there. Search the online automotive tool stores, you will find many brands that you may not be familar with. Many of the brands have a great reputaion and they offer the types of jacks you are looking for. Additionally most of the aluminum jacks have low pickup points.

I always jack my car up by the pumpkin in the rear first. Just make sure you have a long handle on your jack. Some people like myself usually like to take the extension off and lose it. Then you have to shove an old carbon composite lacrosse stick into the tube to use your jack at length.

Scroll about half way down...

http://www.asedeals.com/automotive_floor_jacks.html

Here is the pic of it... Price is $199 shipped.

I was contemplating.... They also have a real nice looking aluminum jack for $184 shipped.
