what tools should i get?
i always use my friends or my neighbors.
all i have is a 1" swivel extention that i bought to reach the hidden spark plug. (?!!)
i came up on a home depot store credit card thing that has like $160 on it i think.
what should i get?
when i mod, i want to do as much of the work myself as possible.
thanks

Flea markets, yard sales and pawn shops rule for
building up your tool collection, probably half
of my hand-tool stuff is used. Just have to look
it over for damage. I have flea market Craftsman
ratchets that have stood up to sledge hammer
abuse for 20 years (poor man's impact wrench) and
if I ever break 'em I'll get a free one.

I found a nice drawer tool chest by the side of
the road yesterday, only missing one drawer and
rusty as hell but I needed another (6th) one.
There's always room for pie!
Of course, they look at you kind of funny when you bring in a screwdriver with a chewed up tip and a bent shaft. lol

maybe i should try to sell the store credit thing to a contractor, and then use the money to buy craftsman? or do you think i should get snapon? so far that next thing i want to do is try to swap my stall convertor myself. what kind of kit is a good start?

For your average do it yourselfer craftsman will do just fine. However in a shop enviroment the simple won't last as long. You might also look into S&K as the are on par maybe a little more than craftsman and a lot better quality.
Good luck
what about "husky"?
that is what home depot sells
i heard they are just as strong,
but more comfortable to the hand.
anyone have experience with both craftsman and husky?
