Default Leakdown Compression Tester

I have a Craftsman Compression Tester- is the leakdown tester an adapter to the tester?

Anyone have links to pic's of tester and maybe a how-to for proper Leakdown Testing.

.

No, at least I've never noticed one. I have both models & like the dual gauge better. Just my 2 cents.
I bought my single gauge at a local parts house, I believe my dual gauge came from Jegs or summit.
I'm sure a sponsor has leakdown testers. Good luck.

Quick question:

Once you get the piston to TDC and add the shop air, how long do you wait to take the final reading?

1 minute.. 5 minutes.. 20 minutes???

Thanks (Neophyte Mr. B)

3 seconds, with the valves closed it's pretty much immediate.

And make sure that motor is warm if you want a nice accurate measurement.
