Something to think about..

I know alot of people get very upset when they see corrison. Espically on bolts and nuts. I have been in the Navy for over 8 years now, so I have seen my fare share of Bio-metalic corrison. An old salty fart once showed me along time ago, that if you use Wintergreen oil around the bolt head, and or threads exposed, it helps with removal of the bolt. I have used this method many many times, and it has never failed me.

So I thought I would share this with you guys, and see what your thoughts are on it. Try it out, and when you do, Come back to me, and let me know how it works.

Is this for badly rusted bolts that need to be removed or for preventing rust or corrision?

For removal of bad rusty or corrided bolts. It won't help with the prevention of it. just to get it out.

Which is why PB blaster smells the way it does!! Wintergreen baby. We see plenty of salt out here!

where do you find that? i've never heard of that product before, but yeah i've used PB and love it. me and PB have a thing going on right now

You can find it at most drug stores, and hardware stores. Its Wintergreen Extract. Highly smells like Wintergreen, lol like you open the bottle and the hole place will smell like it. Its also green of course. It works better than PB blaster, for me anyways. I just put it on with an acid brush and let sit for awhile..
