A proprietary solid rubber/foamish/plastic like compound. No slipping on the pavement!

They are quite light but very strong. They also will not scratch your driveway, garage floor or your car. They won SEMA product of the year with these.

.

?? is the trax jax what I would use on my Pro-Mod. Will it clear an extended nose, 3" height. I seen a few of the pro guys using something. I'm cheap, I usually just take the nose off to get a jack under.

Did you want to just get the car lifted enough so you can get the floor jack under or did you actually want to drive up on the full size ramps to work on the car?

.

Just a jack, so when I'm alone & can't get nose off, I can at least do something. My shop floor is very smooth & wood does slide once in awhile.

I have a set of their trailer ramp extensions, the quality is excellent. I felt safer using them for my lowered cars vs 2x4 blocks.

I have a set of the Race ramps for my C6 and SRT8 Charger...they work great, are light weight and don't slide a bit when driven up on. I feel alot more comfortable under the car with these than with the hard plastic hollow ramps from the parts store, and I don't scrape the air dams or the front valance driving onto them. I've recouped the money spent already on self oil changes and exhaust install in my driveway.

I'll ask the question everyone is thinking.

Why are they so expensive? Rhino ramps are ~$30. Sure they're half the length, so less material, but an additional ~ $230? No way. $100 a pair? Sure, put me down for a set.

I have the FTRA, and I recommend it to people, so I obviously support you, but not in this instance.

We are not the manufacturer, just a vendor on this particular product. We did ask about the costs and the manufacturer has indicated that their production costs are very high and there is nothing they can do to decrease the costs associated with producing them. They are solid (not hollow like Rhino ramps), longer, wider and more specialized. We wish the net cost was less as we feel more would be sold but that is not up to us. Regardless, they are a quality product and everyone that has bought them has been very pleased.

However, they did come up with a less expensive model for people that don't need the super low incline. They are called the Sport Ramps. They sell for a more reasonable 133.99 . Here is the link to those ones:

http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...oducts_id=1558

The 67 XT's are still the most popular model as they combine a very low incline angle, wide track width (for wide tires) and non slip design that makes them perfect for Corvettes, Vipers, Ford GT's etc. Just about any car can get up these models without touching the front end of the car.
