I agree, those are the things that I push for in the design reviews. It is all about saving money (because most don't want to spend the extra money) but there comes a point where it is not practical to do some things

I have not seen any issues with the SS pumps honestly. Most of them were before my time in the lab, but the ones I have work on have been great units. I agree though, the 2340 is my favorite for a small shop.
