Default Anyone needing a valve spring tool?

I am offering an easy to use valve spring install/remove tool. The tool comes with an internal socket head stud for easy of wrenching and a grade 8 nut.

I currently have plenty of tools in stock. (02/02/05)

Unfortunately I have had to increase the shipping cost to $10 so that all tools will go out with tracking. This is resulatant in the number of guys reporting their tool lost in shippiing. Sorry for the additional cost! Total shipped is now $40.00.

Following are pics of the tool and with the tool installed on head.

Email me or PM me for more info. If you wish to order via Paypal my address is larry98@alltel.net.

Nice and simple setup, I like it! And, I also know how specific you are about the tools you use Larry, and how well they work. So, I think I'll need one

Gotta move this thread to the tools forum, but I'll leave a pointer in the internal forum.

I was really just commenting on the ingenuity there. It's always the simple, creative solutions that make the most complex jobs easier. Working in machine shops for 9 years gives one an appreation for stuff like that

I guess it's not obvious to me how it works. You just screw down that nut to compress the spring? Counldn't you end up breaking that stud?

The spring will compress long before the stud breaks or the threads fail. The threads and rocker bolt hold the spring load at max rpm and full lift. That's a lot more load than required to just compress the spring enough to get the keepers out.
