that last logo isn't bad... but you have GM licensed emblems on it... plus no 5th Gen in it...


Adrian, do you by any chance know what "font type" the "LS1Tech.com" is written in to make the original logo?

I might give this a shot when I get home. I'm at work now and have none of my software...

True, I do have GM licensed emblems in it and if I read the law right it falls under the Fair Use Law. Under the fair use doctrine, it is not an infringement to use the copyrighted works of another in some circumstances, such as for commentary, criticism, news reporting, or educational use. Technically this site is educating people about their cars. Still reading on to see what else it holds. Can never be to careful. And the 5th Gen is the SS badge.

 

I would like more skin options too

 

i think the banner should include every LS1 powered car for example 98-02 Camaro/Trans Am Corvette,GTO,etc with a picture also of the LS1 engine because the LS1 is such a beautiful engine LoL!

 

problem is... you can't really fit EVERY LS Car on the banner and it still look good without it looking wayyyy too busy.

 

Ok, as best I can keep it in accordance with what Sharpe said on page 8 here is another layout that I think best describes. File is a little lowres but will get the point across.

I think you got all the requirements, except the fact that you have "GM Licensed" logos on there... not sure if that's a problem or not.

This is the best one I've seen yet too.

However, the #1 complaint we've had with the current banner is that it doesn't represent the LS1 community. Two of the three cars there are not LS1 vehicles. A C5, in my personal opinion, would be much more at home than the C6 in LS1Tech's banner.

I love that banner. I'd almost swap out that C6 Vette though for a drag prepped 4th gen Camaro, something like this:



I personally wouldn't put a Corvette in there since we really aren't a Corvette site per se.
