it's the polite way of telling us to **** ourselves. they're not going to change anything other than attempting to make that shitty *** clusterfuck work to their liking or a suggestion we make other than getting rid of it.
I am trying to post a for sale add and when I click down the Make or Model box there is nothing there and if I try to submit it without those filled it just clears it out and I have to fill it all out again. Is this a problem with the system or something on my part?
If you are blocking internetbrands.com via a browser plugin or firewall, the drop-down menu will not populate.

Is there a way we could get the location to show up in the main Classifieds page? Probably wouldn't be that important for parts but for cars, it sucks seeing the car you want for a killer price and then open the thread to find out it's all the way across the country. I think it'd make browsing the classifieds much easier.

It is possible that your browser doesn't render the javascript call to our make/model database. I use Opera for example, and it doesn't work with that (a lot of sites don't work with Opera though - so it doesn't bother me).
Try Firefox or Internet Explorer, and see if it that works.

i hadnt used the classifieds for a few months until last week and i was shocked at how bad it is.
i know adrian said its not a viable option to go back to the old way, and we all know that means they are making more money this way, but for the sake of argument heres my suggestion.
post a sticky in the classifieds section saying that in 7 days the forum will be rolled back to the old way. all current for sale adds will be lost and the sellers will have to make a new thread after the roll back. then lock the new threads option for those 7 days so that there will be less active for sale ads when the roll back occurs.
or...just roll it back because everyone will be grateful the old system is back and will just make a new for sale ad.

Like it or not, it has been explained that there are no plans to return to the old way. This is a 17 page thread full of people "expressing their opinion." We've heard it all. It's done and over.
While Wowsers approached the matter in a mature and intelligent fashion, there are those who are not.
Now, enough with the bad attitude. It'll be vacation time next.

was there something wrong with what i said? i realize that now days people "in charge" dont follow the normal business motto of providing for their customers. they also like to bad mouth or discredit people like me because they feel i'm being a hindrance against whatever agenda they have.
however, i have provided ideas and solutions along with my bitching on how shitty that section is now. i have explained why things would be easier for moderators like yourself to do your job. i also provided ideas on getting the whole board involved in a popular vote to prove or disprove the change as being flat out retarded. although, we now know that your customers (us) you just flat out dont give a **** about. you've made that clear by not changing anything with the class section and keeping it garbage. while also i guess also telling me i cant mention flat out facts when i bumped this thread. or are you mad that i bumped a thread a few weeks old? now i'm confused
