Please change it back. I have bought and sold a lot of stuff on here, and this new format makes me not want to even come here anymore. I'll go elsewhere to look for parts.

 

I like on the poll 135 members want it changed back and 2 said they like it the new way. One being ib adrian. LOL what a ******* joke. I cant even read that ****. I was thinking about searching for a good deal on a roller camaro, **** I could probably walk the planet and find one faster.

I thought that maybe he didn't have a subscription to this thread and was unaware of what was being said. Just to be fair since people are wondering why there hasn't been any feedback.

 

The new classifieds are a mess. If you're going to keep the cluttered-looking search column, fine. But I'd at least like to see LSX and non-LSX sections separate again.

 

I 100% agree that the new classifieds are just not as efficient as the old ones. PLEASE, PLEASE change them back to the way they were.

Now that Jason has posted maybe some more of them will quit being wussies and post their opinions be it good or bad. There is no way in heck that every moderator on the site likes the new classifieds. Maybe just scared to lose their POWAH!

 

Hi !!! First of all, THANKS for all the efforts to upgrade and keep up this Great Forum !!! Maybe you can keep both formats "Old Style" and "New Style" so everybody can use it the way they want it until you guys figure out the best way to do it and fix all the little problems.

This idea is great but I think you should keep it in an easier form, like this:

-Engine Parts
-Brake and Suspension Parts
-Trans Parts
-Interior Parts
-Exterior Parts
-Wheels & Tires
-Etc.

with the option to select multiple ones in case that they fall in various categories and get the "New and Used" buttons to work but other than that, I think is a Great Idea and I'm thankful for all your efforts guys to keep the forum at it's best !!!

Hell, if I had a trader rating of "Trader Rating: 0", I wouldn't give a **** either I don't guess.

 

i dont like it. the old setup seemed fine to me. this seems like a textbook case of good idea bad execution. not that it is all bad but its gonna be way to many options that are really not needed. the title of the thread will tell what is in it. if we are intrested we will open the thread for the price and more info. simple is better in this case. or give the user the option of what classifieds style he wants to see in the user control panel. just my two cents.

The one thing that keeps me hanging on to this board and you guys go and change it. great.

Its pretty phunny how people buy out something successful and then proceed to "make it better". lol. if you could do that you wouldn't need to buy anything.

 

My guess is you have people now in charge more interested in the money aspect and not really into cars or parts. So to them a car part is a car part and they cant understand the difference or why one would want them separated.
To them this is probably a superior new thing and we are the idiots.

Im sure money from sponsors is generated by web hits. Whether we like a certain section or not is irrelevant. We live in a corporate world and they now have a hold of this site. Its all about the $$$$$$ till it all comes crashing down.... thats the american way..


....or something totally different... they reformatted it to work with this new format and changing it back is impossible or a nightmare. Due the the site being super slow at times (deathly slow) I would say something is severely fucked up.

 

I must be missing something with the above statement as i've got a rating of 13, 100% positive. Either way, I see we both agree on the matter, the current classifieds is bullshit and the reason it was changed was all about the dollar, not the members.

 

I hate the classifieds they cater to the yuppy non car-literate. The change is bad for everyone. Change the sponsors classifieds so we can do specific part searches from the SPONSORS that will be good for everyone.
The only way to make a point would be to boycott the site till they change it back. Complete site inactivity for a couple days might send the message that they pissed us off.


Seriously, I went to another camaroz28 site and their classifieds are similar to the old ones here. It was awesome to just browse through listings of random parts.
