Default Christian Brothers Automotive

This huge green window pops up and blocks the entire page every time I load this forum. It wont go away and I have to kill the Browser. I dont mind ads, but jeez, very annoying and obnoxious

Can you provide us with a screen capture of the ad as well as a click-through link so that we can identify and investigate (likely have it removed)? Thanks

The Black Magic ad does it too. When I click "My Recent Topics" and go to get to the bottom for "last week" I have to go over the ad.... it completely makes my recent topics thing disappear

If you mouse-over a mouse-over ad, it's normal for it to expand as that's what they do and they've been in use for some time.

However, when using the My Recent Topics and it draws over the ad, as long as you keep your mouse within the My Recent Topics menu, the mouse-over ad should not expand. Is this not the case? Or are you swinging your mouse outside of the My Recent Topics menu and into the mouse-over ad?

Mouse-over ads that expand without getting near it, or right on it, are the ones that aren't tolerated and are removed from the system as long as the necessary information is provided.

IMO ANY ads that pop out for any reason, ads that make noise, etc should all be shot.

I know they changed stuff in it, but I still find it better than Chrome. Chrome is "meh" to me, of course I'd use it over IE in a heartbeat any day.

of course with FF you can just customize it however you want to make it look 99% like how it used to if you really want

I switched to using mostly chrome cause its much lighter, it doesn't hog as much memory as FF. Things are much better with the ad-blocker in place and just for the record, like already said, any add that pops up and gets in your face, or makes noise or anything else obnoxious like that should not be allowed

pissing people off does not make them want to buy your product.

There should be a consumer protection law, I also switched to Chrome because sometimes the classifieds wouldn't allow me to search if I was using Firefox.
