This site has slowed down a lot volume wise in the last year or so.

I will forever be an active member of ls1tech, as it lead me from having never changed my own oil, to tackling my first cam swap, motor overhaul, trans overhaul, rearend overhaul, complete rewiring, nitrous install, and full suspension.
This site is a wealth of knowledge and i've met some great people that have helped me in real life when problems arise.

I personally like LS1Tech way better than I do any of the FB groups. At least the people on this forum are halfway educated about all things LS related. Some of the questions that get asked on the FB groups makes me feel badly for the LS community, and society as a whole. I really hope that this forum picks back up. I love getting on here daily and look forward to seeing what's going on, asking questions, and helping others when I can.
99% of the time the questions asked on Facebook have already been answered on here. I love when someone gets pissed when they ask a question on FB and I answer it with a link from a Tech thread lol

It is hard for me to read through this site as often as I used to. There seems to be much less actual F-Body/Vette content on here but instead a lot of random technical, or repeat questions and a bunch of weird LS swap threads.
And I won't comment on the Facebook/Instagram F-Body community, lol.....

I'm not personally interested in any swaps for the most part, but they are the big business of the future; this is what has kept interest in the engine alive even as interest in 4th gens continues to decline.

This site is and will always be my go to for the reasons stated already. The people on most of the FB pages are good for entertainment and that's about it. I wouldn't know as I deleted FB and haven't looked back...
Sure this site isn't what it once was but it is still damn good.

I've always gone to forums for answers for my cars. I really despise using Facebook for it and cannot fathom why anybody would perfer Facebook groups over a forum. It really a shame that this what is being leaned toward.

Interesting that there is suddenly so much traffic discussing the lack of traffic.
