Fred, what plastic thing are you talking about? The intake manifold? If so that's an easy one... if not could you clarify what you mean.

Yeah, I tried to look it up shortly after he made his post, and had the same problem figuring out what else it could be besides the intake manifold itself, wasn't sure if it was just me overlooking something obvious though so I didn't say anything at the time

Sorry for the late response I need the flat old school style gasket thing that goes between the intake manifold and the heads. I'm doing a truck manifold to ls1 manifols swap and the truck manifold had the plastic gaskets that clip on to the manifold but I cant use them on the ls1 manifold. Hope this helped a little.
Thanks!

If I'm reading your post correctly, then all you're needing is the LS1 style madifold gaskets that NavySS mentioned previously... Which are just a set of individual seals(part#12533587) that fit into the manifold... Now the truck manifold gaskets have a clip built into the end them(part#17113557), but will not work on the LS1 manifold as you mentioned... And GM doesn't offer a style gasket like the truck one w/out the clip... The gasket # ACW just listed is for the cover that houses the two knock sensors under the intake manifold, but if you're just doing an intake swap I don't think that's the gasket you're needing... I hope one of us has helped shine some light on the situation for you.

First off thanks to everybody. I just looked at the manifold and those darn gaskets do go in the manifold. for some reason i was expecting a gasket like the truck manifold gasket. All is well here. Thanks again.

I really don't know if you can even order one or not but i'll give it a try. I have a 98 Z28 and would like a number for a remote key fob. I would get the number from my old one but i threw it away. It was just the housing from the previous owner rigging it up. I did order one from ebay but it ended up being from a pontiac and won't work. If there isn't a part number for it then that's cool i'll just deal with having to get in and turn the key. thanks for you time guys......zac

If you have the theft deterrent system (RPO UA6), the Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter part number is 16245100 (96-02 Camaros); or if you don't have UA6, the part number is 16245103 (96-98 Camaros).

What is the part number for the drivers side exhaust gasket for a 98 Z28? You have written that PN 12555806 is for 99 up. Thanks for any help.

1998 LS1 F-Body catalytic converter gasket:
RH - 88891747
LH - 12555806

Oh, looks like they're the same 1998's was listed separately, and I hadn't checked whether the numbers matched the 99-02 listing earlier.

I need a Manual Driver's side mirror for an 02 Camaro. I DONT NEED THE HOUSING. I need the moving mechanism that connects to the plastic that holds the mirror(three cables connected the **** at one end and the mirror back at the other), the plastic the mirror gets stuck to(the three cables go through), and the mirror itself. One of the cables pulled through the plastic so I need the whole internal assembly. I found these two part numbers but I am unsure which is the correct one I will need.

12528880

or

10279409

Anyone help?

Please use the request thread linked to in https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-maintenance-repairs/336981-lt1-lt4-ls1-ls6-f-body-part-numbers.html from now on; guess I'll have to lock this one.

MM98 said earlier in this thread that 10279409 is the number for a manual mirror's assembly. Don't know about the other number, though; perhaps MM98 can answer.
