Mobile has hijacker ads As the title says, I get hijacker ads on my android that say many different thinks from you have malware to you won an iPhone. It's only this site and you have to close the tab and open a new one to get rid of it.
I understand needing ads, forums cost money to run but these hijackers are relentless and probably driving people away.

Some staff members have already reported this, and I sent a note to JeremyT about it. He indicated that IB is aware of the issue, it's happening on other sites as well, and they are currently working on it.

Has anything been done about this? Just about every thread I open immediately gets hijacked as soon as it loads. I really hope this isn't loading viruses into my phone and laptop...

The Ad team is aware of the issue. They have been removing the offending ads as found which are responsible for the issue. Ads come from many sources and partners with some selling/buying. Problem is they are a moving target and keep coming back.

i dont have a computer only my android phone and 9 out of ten times when i get on ls1 tech it takes me to some page saying virus detected or you won an iphone or walmart giftcard it does it almost before the page finishes loading i never make it to the end of page two of new posts its just aggravating since i like to check up on stuff a couple.times a day is there any chance ots getting better or is there a way i can keep it from happening to my phone also two other car sites are having it happen also so i know its not just yalls fault

My understanding is the ad team found the offending provider. You'll see this thread's activity had stopped last month. This issue also occurred on other sites in the network and feedback from those appeared to confirm this was largely resolved.
That said, it's still possible some might appear from time to time. We need more information - such as screen captures and URLs.
Lastly, this issue is specific to Android devices - especially ones that aren't using recent build. Anytime you use any device connected to the Internet that isn't updated/patched, you have the risk of something like this occurring.

I am having this issue now on my iPhone but not on mobile site. I always load the full site up. I will update this with a screen capture next time this happens.
