Armed Forces section?
From his profile= USAF
Probably his way of saying AF will get tore up in there. I don't care what you other branches say......it does suck when the airconditioning and cable go out!
(I'm AF too)

They didnt believe me when I told them I ate MRE's for weeks straight and was HAPPY to get some hot A's even if they were nasty. Different worlds for sure.

Having a taist of home and a place to talk to people in simular conditions as yourself are VERY important while so far away. If you've never been there i doubt you could understand, but there is times you dont get to contact anyone for a month or more. And getting back into the swing of family life after being gone so long can get rough.
93LS1RX7, I know what you mean. I've cross trained with some Air Force guys and they thought setting up the gear behind the motor pool was field time.
Everyone that serves is g2g in my book...but the different branches ARE very different. They didnt believe me when I told them I ate MRE's for weeks straight and was HAPPY to get some hot A's even if they were nasty. Different worlds for sure.

My sentiments exactly. I'm army. 8 years now. Try 2 months MRE's and 2 bottles of water for 1 1/2 months in F*CKING JUNE.
But all said and done I WISHED I WOULD HAVE GONE AIR FORCE.
And Yeah. Hell Yeah. I'm down.
