Search not work?

Does the SEARCH function not work for anyone else? I've been trying to get some vital information

ditto! i need info!!!!!!!!!!! just goin back in pages in a section takes so fricken long...im on 9 in the appearance section and am about to have a stroke. NEED A SEARCH BUTTON! VITAL INFO!!! lol

only threads in the external engine section seem to be working with the search button, very annoying.

Here is a thought: use Google for your search. You can just type in a search phrase or key words, or you can search a specific site or forum.

Actually they DO search the threads, they just don't index the threads BY USER. Its a bit more efficient than having them index the same content three times.

hahaha. I wasn't sure if there were ways to disable the spider's ability to search the entire site or not. Apparently I was under the impression Brains disabled more than he did.

Their use of the search function is disabled, but they can still manually follow all of the links in each forum's list, and on the 'archive' versions of the pages.
