+1 no offense to OP, but this place is great and I'm glad to be able to come here. the ads don't bother me, and i would def be a paying member to get an upgraded account, esp a larger pm box. the amount of info/help availalbe here is... well... priceless, for lack of a less word.

i'm sure alot of effort is put into making this site and keeping it top-notch, and it seems there's always a new complaint. i would need a lot of to deal with it as calmly as these guys do.

Oh, that's a ******* ouch right there.

LS1tech is the premiere F-Body site on the internet because it's owners made it that way. They must be doing something right, eh?

If Tony and John decided to have little fat men in pink tutus dancing around the bottom of the page, you wouldn't see a thread from me bitching about it.

LS1tech is free right now, and it's a priviledge to be a member here. Creative criticism is okay to a certain extent - but after 3 pages worth, this thread has run it's course.

How about 2 bucks a month for a search feature... period

I'm a ****. That was a joke, I know the tricks to get it to work, I like the site and would pay, the ads dont bother me. Could be worse as stated, the ads could be INSIDE the thread, that's a pain in the ***.

IBCyphur

They get threads all the time, Brains is working on it, along with whomever else is involved in the rebuild. It'll be back... stronger, faster, they have the technology.

Nice dude, thats going in my sig

There is a LOT of work going on behind the scenes, and you can rest assurred the big 3(PSJ, Nine Ball and Brains) are trying a lot of stuff to get this site on the fast lane. There's some big stuff on the horizon, but as I said before, its not an overnight thing. LOTS of custom coding, some new gear, and once the site is running smoothly there are some new features that may find their way into the site.

HOWEVER, bitching won't make any of it happen any sooner(trust me, I've tried!!). There are some things out of our hands right now and we just have to hang tight. The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight.....

Okay, here's what we're going to do. If you're logged in, no Google ads. If you're a guest, you see all the ads.

Tony once told us what the monthly server costs are JUST from LS1tech..... about my house note x 4 or 5 . If PSJ or Nineball were making tons of money from this, they probably wouldn't have regular jobs , too.
