Also, myls1.com is a new up and coming forum. Im sure they could use new members, and its a great site. Lots of similar sections to here. im sure a sponsor section there wouldnt hurt either..................

You're 8! I feal the same way. I've gotten some amazing deals from sponsors on here. Matt at new era just sent me a crap load of stuff a few months ago. Without sponsors I'd never know where to buy parts.

I feel the same way about my friend Jason https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=66972 whos a sponsor on here too. Much like KYTP he's a small operation. 90% of the time it's just him. He brings in his friend to help him out when things get hectic.

My engine blew up in my formula on attempted startup on June 3rd 2007. Jason sent me a pm saying he'd help me out. I talked to him about how I don't have a lot of money and he said he'd work with me on everything. He drove 45 minutes 1 way to pick up my car for free. He came to the shop on a Sunday night at 9pm to let me drop off parts. My car has been sitting down there taking up space for 6+ months. Not to mention my huge pile of parts that have basically encompassed the back right corner of the shop. Of those parts he's helped me figure out 90% of what I need and guided me along the way. 95% of the things I've bought used and he still helps me.

I can't explain how much he's helped me out. Without him sending me that pm my car would probably still be sitting in my yard or my parents would have forced me to sell it. Instead I'm going to have one bad *** car. For that I try to help him out when ever I can. When ever I go down there I stay all day and help him do what ever he needs. I send him business. My friends 76 van is down there now getting one gnarly 383 / 700R4 combo put in it.

Knowing that this crap is going on ticks me off because I know how much being a sponsor on this site really does help him out. In the past few months he's gotten completely new garage doors, locks, repainted the building, moved the dyno and added another lift mostly from business from here.

That's fine. You're a gisgruntled sponsor. You can use what ever number you'd like.

 

All this google crap is so retarded, no offense to the mentally handicapped out there. This is what DRIVES MEMBERS AWAY from sites. I have stopped completely using 3 forums already bc of these stupid ads. ib and other corporations only care about the money they make, to heck with everyone else. No matter how good of a thing you have going, all good things come to an end.

They dont listen to us or give a crap until we quit paying our Sponsorship fee's.

 

None of the Google loads for me except the car sale add. must just be firefox other then that no real problems i just can't see any sponsor's so i have to go to the Alphabetical list

 

ib won't care. What is the loss of one sponsor to them? Not too much, when it gets bad they will just sale out to someone else.

 

Does that make me number 11?


These ads make everything load slow, tricking me into thinking there's pictures of stuff I'm interested in. But nope.. Just trying to sell me Honda turbos and teacher certifications from towns I've never heard of.

I can see everyone moving to another site, and in a year there'll be a thread, "Who else misses LS1Tech?"
