plus, it is causing me to click my back page arrow multiple time. just to gp back one page, because it seems that there are a ton of pop-ups all of the sudden?
I'm not a big fan of it either. I was wondering why it loaded different. It asked me if I wanted to remember my password again which I thought was odd. I think that might have been something I did.

i bet alot of vendors are not going to be happy. since only about 1/4 of them are showing. it still seems that they rotate, but its not ad good as it was
I'm not a fan of those Google ads either, but the reality is that they can potentially generate over $100,000/year in advertising revenue on a site this active.
When we found out that stagging figure, we really couldn't argue over cosmetics. Since we no longer own the site, it wasn't our decision if they stay or go.
The normal sponsor buttons will actually be easier to navigate now, since they do not go way past the bottom of the page, and each of them still randomly shows up with each mouse click. We found that only first few actually caught anyone's attention anyways, since that column was so long.

You will have to get used to it, since they probably won't ever be removed. Hell, had we known they could generate six figures of revenue when we still ran the site, they probably would have been put up sooner

sucks.
